Sweden's Stockholm Archipelago is a "magical, breathtakingly beautiful islescape" with more than 24,000 islands, islets and skerries, where only about a thousand is inhabited. It's the summer paradise for boaters and canoers. The archipelago spans a distance of more than 100 kilometres (~ 62 miles) across, from north to south, with lots of restaurants, hotels, hostels and campgrounds. Visiting around the Christmas time to enjoy the archipelago in the winter is also a great idea. This amazing Pescecappa cooker hood by Elica is an unusual prototype hood created for an unusual house, Pescetrullo, designed by architect Gaetano Pesce. Inspired by traditional stone chimney, this cooker hood design makes an incredible yet quite natural statement in the kitchen, with bright colors "conveying feelings of joy, warmth, irony and optimism". Pesce "highlights vegetables and fruits, simple flavours and odours with a rich history behind them, symbolizing a healthy, environment-friendly philosophy of life."

For this unique bar design, architects at JetArt got their ideas from a contemporary jet fuselage design. The bar shape and the composite materials used are similar to those utilized in aviation, resulting in an ultra-modern design. 3D software and hi-tech technologies were used to construct this bar.
